What cookies and similar tech are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags that help a site remember choices, stay secure, or measure how pages are used.
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), Bytevolve is the Data Fiduciary for personal data processed through these tools on bytevolve.com. How that data is used more broadly is in our Privacy policy.
What this site stores
We group technologies into three categories. Essential items run so the site works. Functional and marketing items run only if you allow them in our consent banner or .
- Essential — hosting and security, site fonts needed for the designed layout, and Bytevolve (stores your cookie choices on this device; local storage key related to bv-cookie-consent-v1)
- Functional — tools such as Google Tag Manager and OpenPanel to understand aggregate usage and improve the site, only with your consent
- Marketing — tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, Conversion Linker, DoubleClick, HubSpot and Microsoft Clarity for traffic, campaigns and usability insights, only with your consent
Exact service names and short descriptions also appear in the consent panel on this site. We may add or retire a tool when our stack changes; this page and the consent list will be updated together.
Consent under the DPDP Act
Where a cookie or similar technology processes personal data and is not strictly necessary to provide the service you requested, we ask for consent that is free, specific, informed and clear — consistent with the DPDP Act.
You can refuse or withdraw optional consent as easily as you gave it, via or by clearing site data in your browser. Withdrawal does not affect essential operation of the site or processing already completed lawfully.
Essential technologies that keep the site secure, deliver core pages, or remember your consent choice may operate without optional consent because they are needed for the service to function.
What this site does not do by default
We do not sell cookie data. We do not run optional advertising or analytics tags until you opt in. We do not knowingly use cookies to target children under 18 with advertising.
Session tools that may record page interaction (for example Clarity, if enabled with marketing consent) are not used to capture payment card numbers or to sell keystroke logs. Form contents you submit are handled as described in the Privacy policy, not as an open advertising feed.
Managing cookies
Use on this site to turn functional or marketing categories on or off at any time. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings; essential features still work, though preferences may reset.

How long things last
stay on your device until you clear them or we publish a new consent version that asks again. Analytics and marketing cookies follow each vendor’s retention defaults and your consent state.
When optional consent is withdrawn, we stop new optional tagging from our banner controls; residual cookies may remain until your browser deletes them or they expire.
Processors and transfers
Some cookie and tag providers process data on servers outside India. Transfers follow our Privacy policy and only to countries not restricted by the Central Government under the DPDP Act, for the purposes described when you consented or for essential operation.
Your rights
As a Data Principal you may request access, correction, erasure and related rights for personal data tied to cookies and tags, as set out in the Privacy policy and the DPDP Act. Grievances can be raised with our Grievance Officer (Kamran Akhtar) via hello@bytevolve.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this cookie policy when tools or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we publish a revision. Material changes may also prompt a fresh consent choice.
